Privacy Policy

Go Gray (“we”, “us”) runs gogray.today and the Go Gray iOS app. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: as little as possible, never sold, and analytics are aggregate.

What we collect

On gogray.today

• Aggregate analytics via Vercel Analytics and PostHog. This is page views, referrers, device type, and country — not personal identifiers. No cross-site tracking cookies.
• Your email address, if and only if you enter it into a subscribe form. We use it to send you occasional updates about Go Gray. You can unsubscribe with one click.
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) via our host, Vercel. Retained for a short period for security and debugging.

In the Go Gray iOS app

• Screen Time data. With your permission, Go Gray uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls, Device Activity and Managed Settings). The apps and websites you choose are stored as private tokens from Apple; we cannot see their names. Usage reports are created by Apple on your iPhone and shown inside the app. Go Gray never uploads, sells or shares your Screen Time data, and it cannot export it.
• Your Go Gray history (when you switch between gray and color, the nudges you open, your routines and nudge settings, and your weekly intention) is stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it.
• Nudges and reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. We do not run a notification server.
• Subscription status is handled by RevenueCat and Apple. We receive an anonymous subscription identifier, never your Apple ID or payment details.
• Anonymous usage analytics via PostHog: the screens you open and the features you use (for example switching to gray or color, adding a shortcut, opening a reminder, and viewing or buying Go Gray Pro), with the app version, iOS version and device model. Each install gets a random ID. We don't collect your name, email or Apple ID, and Screen Time data is never included.
• Crash reports through Apple, if you choose to share them. You can turn this off in iOS Settings.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We don't build a profile of you across the web.
• We don't run third-party ad trackers on gogray.today.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold on you, delete it, or export it. If you subscribed by email, you can unsubscribe directly in any email we send. For anything else, email hey@atareh.xyz and we'll respond within a reasonable period.

Children

Go Gray is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email us and we'll delete it.

Third parties we use

• Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics for the website and the iOS app (data stored in the US)
• RevenueCat — iOS subscription management
• Apple — App Store distribution and payment

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced by email to existing subscribers.
